Fault analysis and treatment of CNC lathes

CNC lathe is found in the daily maintenance, and the hydraulic Quartet tool holder will appear after the switch instruction is sent out. The tool holder does not move or the knife frame is raised.

In order to solve these problems, first of all, the hydraulic fault is eliminated during the maintenance of
CNC lathes. If it is a hydraulic fault, it is the same as other hydraulic stations, so long as it is properly handled according to the requirements, it can meet the pressure requirements.

The following are mainly discussed for other reasons.

(1) the switch instruction is issued, and the tool holder can not move. Check the electronic proximity switch to check whether the light is bright or not, according to the function of each close switch, the detection lamp is red to indicate the correct position, and the clearance of the switch on the stop block is adjusted in 0.5mm. There are 7 proximity switches in the Quartet's tool rack, of which LS1 and LS2 detect the lifting and loosening of the tool holder, and LS3 and LS4 to detect the position of the left and right side of the piston rack; LS5, LS6, and LS7 are the position of the change of the knife. Light should be changed according to the order of each switch. If everything is normal, check whether the commutation solenoid valves 1 and 2 are correct.

(2) the knife frame rises without changing the knife. The tool switch is issued, the proximity switch LS5 and LS6 detect the cutter position, the solenoid valve is instructed, the rack cylinder is supplied with oil, the rack drives the gear tower to rotate and change the knife. If no action, first check the action of the solenoid valve, if no action, and then check the hydraulic cylinder leakage, if there is leakage, may be the seal damage, the seal should be replaced; if the rack movement, the knife tower is not moved, the gear or end cover may fall off, need to be replaced or reassembled.

(3) the position of changing the knife is not correct. Check the position of the cutter position switch LS5, LS6 is accurate or loose, if any, adjust the switch position or replace the damaged switch; if no, check whether the gear coupling is in place or loose, it is necessary to reinstall it in place.

4) stop in the process of rotation. Adjusting the buffer screw can not be too tight, so that the hydraulic pressure can pass through the turret smoothly to the fixed position. It should be noted that after adjusting the buffer screw, the cutter should be turned 2~3 times, and then locked after confirmation.

(5) after the tool holder falls, the stop can not be retreated (feed hydraulic cylinder can not be back, close to the switch LS2 detection lamp is not bright) to relax the LS2 nut and adjust the distance and position between the close switch and the stop block, so that the gap is around 0.5mm, to see whether the detection lamp is bright. If the test lamp is not light, it means that the proximity switch is damaged, so the switch needs to be replaced. If the switch is not light after the switch is switched on, the solenoid valve or circuit must be considered.

(6) the turret is out of control, and it can not be stopped in many places when rotating. When it is checked at the scene, it is found that the equipment is running and sometimes there is no fault. In manual mode, the turret often runs continuously and continuously, both positive and negative. And with the increase of time, the failure rate is increasing. According to the alarm numbers and alarm hints, it can be determined that the failure of the tool rest system is beyond doubt. After careful observation, it was found that the normal operation of the tool holder was to receive the transposition signal, the turret holder lift, the turning of a knife position (still in the lift state), the repositioning of the turret holder (ready to carry out the next transposition). However, the running process of the fault phenomenon is to receive the transposition signal, and the turret tool holder to lift up and turn over a cutter position without dropping.
